I want to start taking more pictures. Maybe I'll snap things while I take Charlie on his daily walk or of interesting things that I can see outside of my office window, or maybe nothing terribly exciting at all. I want a camera, though. Preferably one that is not pink and owned by the wife.
While browsing Black Friday ads online I noticed this ad for a Kodak EasyShare that's 8MP (not today's "standard," but good enough) and 12x optical zoom. Turns out this isn't the best deal and it can be had for $169 on Amazon with no tax and free shipping. It comes out to just under $10 more expensive than the one on sale at Wal-Mart (factoring in tax), which I think is totally worth the hassle it would be to get there early enough for a 5AM opening.
